Halabja Chamber
On March 31, 2024, in the presence of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Sulaymaniyah, a delegation from the Halabja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Tahir Ezaalddin Mohammed, the Chairman of the Chamber, alongside with Sardar Amin and Barzan Ham Rashid, Deputy Chairmen, and Adel Nasruddin Hawrami, Head of the Relation Department, along with Mr. Burhan and Mr. Aram, the board members of the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce, visited the Maya Battery Factory.
The Maya Battery Factory is the first in Iraq to produce high-quality batteries for export; they will commence shipments to Jordan. The Halabja Chamber delegation expressed their willingness to cooperate and provide support for the production of local goods and exports to foreign countries. They emphasized the necessity for greater emphasis on and facilitation of local factories by both the Kurdistan Regional Government and Iraq.
