On February 29, 2024, the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce convened its regular assembly in Baghdad. The primary agenda of the meeting was the discussion regarding the inclusion of the Halabja Chamber as a member within the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce. Following deliberation, and with the majority of votes from the assembly, the membership of the Halabja Chamber was accordingly approved.
